Raised in the communities of Diego Martin and Arima, he grew up grounded in the values of discipline, integrity, and service—principles instilled by his parents, Ms. Lindley Audain (formerly Turner now decease) and Mr. Stephen Turner Snr. These early influences shaped his character, strengthened his work ethic, and guided him toward a life built on purpose and faith. Mr. Turner’s educational journey through Barataria Junior Secondary School and Arima Senior Comprehensive School laid the foundation for a distinguished career in electrical and electronic technology. He later achieved professional qualifications in Electrical & Electronics Technology and Building Electrical Systems, establishing himself as an expert in complex electrical infrastructure and operational reliability. He began his professional career with the Ministry of National Security, where he served for many years as a dedicated electrician and senior operator supporting critical government operations. His work involved maintaining high-risk environments, coordinating with multidisciplinary teams, and ensuring the continuity and safety of essential services. His performance, leadership, and steady decision-making earned him the respect of colleagues and the wider public-service community. Driven by a vision to expand his influence and build sustainable solutions, Mr. Turner later transitioned into the private sector, serving as a Contractor and company Director, where he successfully executed multiple large-scale electrical projects. His work with the Trinidad & Tobago Electricity Commission (T&TEC) strengthened his reputation as a results-driven professional known for his reliability, technical accuracy, and commitment to national development. Leading and managing teams to success is not a new phenomenon to the Director Administration. He currently sits on several seats. He is the Chairman of the Manzanilla Secondary Local School Board, President of the Manzanilla Secondary School PTA, PRO of the North Eastern Region PTA, Watch Commander of the Manzanilla Secondary School Naval Cadets and a Member of the Manzanilla Secondary School Based Management.
